Box Top Bottom

Description

Flexible Two-Piece Engineering for Oversized Underground Infrastructure.

Our Precast Top-Bottom Box Culverts offer an innovative, two-piece structural solution designed for large-scale drainage and utility systems where monolithic (one-piece) structures face transportation weight limits or on-site handling constraints. Comprising precision-engineered upper and lower halves, this split design delivers the extreme load-bearing strength of a traditional box culvert while dramatically simplifying logistics and installation.

The Ericcon Standard: Precision-cast under strict supervision in our modern facility to guarantee dimensional accuracy and strength, fully meeting SNI and international standards.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Optimized Handling & Logistics: By splitting the massive concrete structure into top and bottom segments, the individual shipping and lifting weight is reduced. This allows for safer transport on public roads and enables the use of smaller, more cost-effective cranes on-site.

  • High-Precision Interlocking Joints: Engineered with a specialized male-female (tongue-and-groove) horizontal joint system. This ensures a perfectly flush, secure fit between the top and bottom halves, preventing lateral shifting under immense subterranean pressures.

  • Enhanced Installation Flexibility: The bottom U-shaped channel can be laid and aligned first. This open-top access allows contractors to easily inspect gradients, run utility lines, or clear debris before lowering the top segment into place.

  • Robust Load Distribution: Once fully assembled and sealed, the combined structure acts as a rigid, heavy-duty conduit. Reinforced with high-tensile steel, it effortlessly withstands deep soil overburdens and high-impact live loads from heavy vehicle traffic.
